mornings are sunny
just as how i want it to be
like sunshine i smile
looking ahead with all warmth

then noon comes i am tired
the bright sun wanting to hide
beneath gray oh heavy clouds
blueness she lost for me abound

she cries for me her earthly child
for the troubles of the world i have
i seem to carry all baggage of the world
crying deeply beneath my stern facade

the clouds have gone dark this afternoon
as she sets me into a world of my own
for now the world is black and i'll be sunshine
seeping its brightness to the world come morning time
